Emphusheni and Rockport

We are very pleased to confirm that your churches, the Emphusheni Circuit and The First Congregational Church, of Rockport, will be ‘matched’ as participating churches to explore the sharing and connecting of our respective lives as churches.

            Rockport is a congregation of the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ, with about 250 members, located in the town of Rockport, on Cape Ann in the northeastern part of the state of Massachusetts, which is in the northeastern part of the United States of America.

            The Emphusheni Circuit is a congregation of the KwaZulu-Natal Region of the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa, comprising a circuit of about 450 members gathering at five worship points.  Emphusheni is located just south of the major city of Durban, in the coastal area of the province of KwaZulu-Natal, which is on the east, Indian Ocean coast of the Republic of South Africa
